Tricks and tips!

When using Mascara don't pump the applicator in and out of the tube, this forces air in and dries out your product. Simply insert applicator and swirl around inside which will put the product on the applicator for you to use.

When applying put brush as close as you can to the bottom of lashes without touching your eyes or inner lid. Simply wiggle the brush side to side and pull up for nice full lashes! This will get all the itsy bitsy lashes that we sometimes miss!

Makeup fun

Makeup comparison
I had Brenda over today and used her as a model to try some of our finest makeup including some of the new mineral makeup.


First I had Brenda arrive with her own makeup on here is a photo






Then Brenda gave her self a facial and here is a picture of Brenda with no makup







Here is Brenda after doing a "5 minute face" although funny it took an hour with my kids talking to her! she applied the makeup herself just so you know. This is a "day application".


Then she added the darker color from the mineral makeup to add an evening look.

Although her first makeup application from home looked great we noticed that certain aspects of the makeup application gave a "younger look and natural look".

Before photos

I am in the process of compiling before and after photos and time always will tell when it comes to good skin care. Just the other night I had some friends over to treat them to a spa night for some non children social time. I commented to a friend how my freckles had lightened in the past few years...it sparked my curiosity to pull out some old photos to see my own skin before BeautiControl came into the pictures, I thought I would share a few with you!


Here is me in 2003 notice the intense freckling (this is at xmas time when there is NO sun! Not too mention I had perma-pimple it was always right there on the ride hand side lower corner of my mouth I had to cover it up all the time!














Here is me at the beginning of our Cuba Trip in 2004, I am wearing foundation here to try and cover all the freckling and imperfections. Notice the uneven skin tone!
















Ok heres a special one for you...the only "up close" shot I could find but it really shows off the imperfections as this is without makeup.

Here is the first "after shot" I started using BC in March of 2007, this is a photo of me in August 2007 at my first convention in Dallas. Much better clarity in my skin and the overall brighteness is much better, keep in mind this IS during the summer months my freckling is much better!

Here is me in February 2008 at New Director Training in Dallas. Wow what a difference in my skin hey!

The photo of me here on my blog was taken in October 2007 a few months after Dallas my skin was looking even better then. That photo isn't doctored that is my real skin with soft makeup.

Not bad for being early 30's how you can change your skin in a short while! I sure don't miss that side mouth "perma-pimple"! Had actually forgotten about it!

Well since having Robyn in October I haven't taken many photos. This one was taken Dec 2008 6 weeks after Robyn was born, no visible freckles and wonderful skin tone.

HELLO Lipstick lovers!

The color applies very subtly, I kept wanting to put more on as it seemed so natural! I bought the color Wisteria Lane, it is HOT! I can't wait to try more.


I also got my first look at the new BC Spa Gel Neckwraps today they are so nice and fuzzy and much lighter than the other ones. I am really excited to do a spa and hand one out to my first hostess. It is also great for those of you who don't have microwaves as you can heat it in hot water!

Wednesday I have a friend coming over for a makeover and I will be using some of the new stuff on her, will be posting before and after photos so you will want to check back on Wednesday and Thursday I am off to the Grad fashion show so if you know any grads tell them to come and see me!
